Leadership Coaching with Lisa Willis

So many times we think of leaders as high and mighty people with an entire congregation of followers. But that’s just one form of leadership. And if that’s what you want, good for you.

WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LEADING OTHERS?

Take a guess! I’m listening.

You’re absolutely correct! Leading oneself (or self-leadership). They say leaders are born and I must agree, but only to a certain extent. Some people have personalities where they’ve stood out their entire lives. However, there are people who have gone through arduous situations, come through painful and trying circumstances, or havegrown and triumphed through instances where they doubted they would still be standing? So what about them?

What was their end result?

They did not fall victim to their experiences but instead, grabbed their experiences by the throat and said, “thank you, but I am calling the shots in my life!” That’s Self-Leadership at it’s best! Let me tell you… I’ve gone through instances where life as I’d known it to be changed just like that! (Imagine me snapping my finger.) Even further, it did not happen once or twice; it happened three times. But guess what? I am still here, standing tall.

You and I have so much in common!

We have made it through 100% of everything we have gone through! Imagine that. That’s Self-Leadership at it’s best! I am still here. You are still here. We are standing tall. Let’s take the time to channel your 100% success rate so that you are more intentional about calling the shots in your life, and not letting the shots control you!
